Permanent Hair Reduction
See the results for yourself!
What is it and how does it work?
The simple procedure sends a laser beam through the skin to reach the hair follicle under the surface of the skin. The follicles are destroyed by heat generated by the laser energy. The laser beam has a large diameter so reaches several hair follicles at one time.
Does it hurt?
There may be a slight burning sensation but this is kept to a minimum by preparing the skin prior to treatment with topical anaesthetic creams.
Are there any side effects?
A reddening around the hair shaft may occur but is usually minimal.
How long does the treatment take?
Depending on the area(s) to be treated, each session may take up to an hour.
How long will the effects of the treatment last?
Only hair follicles that are in their growing cycle will be affected so it is recommended to have 6-8 treatments 4-6 weeks apart to ensure the best results. Occasional maintenance treatments may be required.
What aftercare will I need?
The area(s) treated must not be exposed to sun or any heat treatments for at least two days after treatment.
Price
From £55 per treatment (depending on the area(s) to be treated)
